THE ANIMUS, integrating the inner masculine in women (PDF, document in English)

In this document, we address the internal masculine aspect of women, which in Jungian tradition has been called “the Animus.” This figure can be distorted, and as part of our developmental process and evolution toward individuation, we may need to restore it to its integrated form.

The female psyche has been marked by the influence of this force, which draws from the collective unconscious of the human species and the feminine collective in general, as well as from transgenerational baggage and women’s own experiences.

In this book, we explore what the Animus is, how it presents itself distorted, how it affects women, and other questions that can help us better understand the state of the internal masculine aspect of women and how we can help it from a bioenergetic therapeutic perspective.

The manual includes a protocol with questions and answers in the appendix and proposes solutions to help us understand and integrate this force of the female Psyche.
